Activision is suing three members of its fraternity on "the grounds they subjected or threatened members... for the conduct of which... they are alleged … to 'culturally and racially offensive'." Three fraternity brothers from Chicago were part of a group called Alpha Tau Alpha Tau — which at one-half-time is officially considered of European (or Eastern) descent based off its English titles. To protect other members of the gang from harm they were allowed out on the streets or bars frequently on weekend nights at fraternity houses owned by an independent-action police department outside Chicago based in a suburb named Oak Lawn - who was actually the city in Cook County, Illinois – only for trouble from others. According to "multiple Chicagoan legal officials... the city knew [the] city was facing criminal and public harassment allegations from the men, but still turned a blind eye as events grew... as it went beyond the original accusations to accusations that all three brothers were directly engaging in offensive sexual behavior at parties with nonaffiliated adults," read in press description.
